Let me get this straight about 401k's. Does that mean I'll get $401,000 the day I retire? I don't think that's enough.

I'm not eligible yet, I haven't been here a year. I'm definitely gonna get my full match, then probably look to other retirement options like a Roth IRA (depending on what I can afford)

mine matches 75% of my 8% contribution + I get an 8%(for this year, 7% next year, 4% after that) ROTH 401k automatic contribution

401k is like the one area my employer is best in breed. salaries are about 20% low to the local market so it more than evens out.
