You really used that term? Who the fuck wrote this article? I can't be around gay people and stuff but I know queer is highly offensive. That journalist needs his ass whooped for that.

A gay man who identifies as “queer” because he finds the term to be more inclusive, Giannopoulos said the clothing and accessories he wore to the Oval Office were a nod to gender and sexuality issues. He explained the symbolism in a Facebook post that he shared shortly after meeting Trump in April.

Queer is a term used in the LGBT community. It's actually pretty neat how it has almost entirely dropped from pejorative usage.

Queer isn't an offensive word. Calling some "a queer" as if to say they're a fairy/pansy/wimp is offensive, however.

Plenty of gay or otherwise not typically cis or straight people call themselves queer.

It's unnatural to me and a man acting like a girl goes against what I observed growing up. So naturally it's uncomfortable. It isn't like I hate gay people or anything. Good lord

You can't admit that it's uncomfortable because of how you grew up and then in the next sentence blame it on nature.

Any way a dude acts is acting like a dude. Shouldn't be hard to figure out.

Lol OK. You doing everything a woman normally does a man normally doesn't do means you are still acting like a dude? Get the hell out of here. What are you trying to say? That I hate gay people because they make me uncomfortable? Is that your end game to this conversation? Because that would be a lie. I don't care what they do if they are happy as long as it doesn't effect me. Even if it does I'm not asking them to stop. I just remove myself from that situation.

If a dude does something then he's acting like a dude, because he is a dude, so that must be the way a dude acts. How is this hard to understand? I mean, you're the type to be willfully ignorant and not let it bother you, but at least earlier in the topic you were willing to learn a little.

So you are stuck on this idea of what I considered acting like a guy is versus you. It doesn't matter what you think about that. All that matters is what I think. If I say "yes you're right" doesn't change the fact it makes me uncomfortable. It's a pointless argument with no endgame but to inflate your ego about being right.

I'm saying it's stupid that gay people make you uncomfortable and you've only given stupid reasons why it makes you uncomfortable and it's stupid that you'd rather run away from gay people than interact with them and risk feeling uncomfortable.

Does that makes sense?

I've interacted with them. Certain ones make me uncomfortable. It's even more dumb that you are offended by this. You can chose to be or act hiw you want. I can also chose to not be around it. If someone was walking around naked in public people shouldn't be uncomfortable? It's natural after all. I can feel how I want. I tried to interact with them. Certain ones I'm cool with certain ones I'm not. It's not dumb. It's how I feel.

if you think wearing dresses and lipstick is acting like a guy because a guy did it then I don't have shit to say to you. That's incredibly stupid. "As a guy you can act however you want and it's ok but you can't feel how you want because that's wrong." It's whatever bro. This conversation is over.

I can't stand when queens try to act like divas. That's the worse, and then they expect you to act just as flamboyant as them because you're also gay >_>

And tbh I don't think there was a need to jump down this dude's throat. I honestly can respect folks who don't agree with the lifestyle. Just as long as they don't turn violent, try to infringe on my rights or try to legislate me, I'm happy.

Exactly. I find masculine qualities attractive, not feminine ones. In many cases I find that the some of those guys have no depth to their character other than being gay, like it's the one trait that defines them or something. As for the second part, forcing people to try an completely accept something is futile and they're entitled to their beliefs. Tolerance is all that is needed really.

It's funny. I got modded for a topic earlier asking why can't gays accept the fact that some people don't agree with their lifestyle. I personally don't feel uncomfortable if there's gays around me, but why must I agree with your views? I'm not bashing you, insulting you, preventing you from being you, so why attack me?
