Current Events > Arkham Knight is the best of the three

I've been hesitant to say that, but I feel comfortable now. It has the best story ("I've got you under my skin"), Gotham City is amazingly rendered. In short, I love everything about it and can't really think of anything I don't.

I agree in terms of atmosphere.

Buts its really aged in terms of combat. My personal order is:

Origins>=knight>asylum>city.

But theyre all fantastic.

Edit: Origin had the best boss battles.

You got to be high. Lol. Arkham City is by far the best game of the series and Knight is absolute dog shit. The BatTank ruins the whole game, it's super repetitive, and the Arkham Knight reveal is a slap in the face.

City>Asylum>Origins>Dog shit>>>>>Knight

Of course the internet always has to hate the most recent entry and play hipster by going with the first game. God I hate "gamers" sometimes.

Knight could have been the best imo, but the Batmobile really kills it for me. I'd have to go with Origins. City and Asylum weren't all that special in hindsight imo, especially since their gameplay is so much harder to go back to after playing Origins and Knight.

Knight is just bad tbh.

The worst sin is the poorly designed and bloated predator rooms. There's absolutely nothing like the wonderful design of Wonder Tower or anything.

The batmobile sections were fantastic Tbqh.

Yeah Batmobile isn't even my issue tbh. It was kind of fun, at least it's normal form. Tank was COMPLETELY unnecessary as an addition.

But another big issue is the sidequests. Instead of people having complex plans and arcs, it's all just "this villian is doing [crime] over and over again, go stop them with the same gameplay type again and again and again, your reward is a bit more dialogue from them, none of which is more interesting than what was heard in Asylum or City." It's SUPER lame.

Origins is my favorite but all four are excellent. The driving around Gotham smashing through concrete and vehicles like they are nothing is an amazing feeling.

Knight isn't bad by any means, but the others were better

Good to see most people are starting to turn around on Origins.

Story and bosses were good. Csi batman was a cool touch.

A younger and angrier batman was played well by Roger Smith and a younger less insane Joker by Troy Baker.

Both did fantastic work.
