Seriously I've never been excited for a Spider-Man game before.
It looks like the Batman: Arkham (which I love), of Spider-Man games.

Spider-Geek Homecoming topic talked about it. At least 2 or 3 people were excited. I was interested, but a little iffy on some of the high-paced elements and the apparent QTEs.

It's Insomniac, they have a great track record. Even the games where they were pushed for time turned out great.

Spyro, and Ratchet & Clank are well recieved series. I've never played the latter though

Peter. But miles was shown in the trailer. He relevance is unknown at this time though.

Heavy rain Spiderman edition. Hopefully it opens up and gives you a little bit more control.

Yeah it sucks, but than again this game exists because Sony is paying for it to be made, and they're dealing with Disney to do it (and dealing with Disney is always a hassle since they're such a monster of a company).

I've never liked anything from insomniac, so bleh

It looks very arkham-y though, which I'm iffy about. Stealth sections make a lot more sense when you're wearing black in the middle of the night, rather than bright red in the middle of the day.

Way too many QTE's, that was like the entirety of the gameplay. Huge letdown. Also, while it seems more and more games are using "bullet time" now, especially the Bayonetta variety where you have to dodge at the right moment to trigger it (looking at you, Breath of the Wild), I guess this game...isn't doing that at all? On such a high end console, you'd think they'd finally be able to incorporate the "Spidey Sense" and let players who can react quickly enough avoid attacks and/or get some benefit out of dodging like time slowing down. While both boil down to "hit a button at the right time," that's at least more organic and less disruptive than a QTE and I'd vastly prefer that sort of thing.

I don't care about it being exclusive b/c I'll never own an Xbox product of any kind anyway.
