I am now 13 pages into Financial Management: Theory & Practice and 6 pages into The Feynman Lectures on Physics: Volume I. I intend to keep up this pace and be finished with both books in 80 days, whereupon I will move on to new material. I will likely move on to the 2nd volume of Feynman Lectures then and begin an economics textbook. I have chosen the time constraints that I have because it requires me to do the same amount of reading per week that a full-time college student would hypothetically do if he or she actually read the full textbooks for his or her courses. Knowledge is power, CE. And soon I will be an unstoppable super villain.

I suggest reading accounting books and then move on to financial analysis/CFA books.

All you have to do is avoid bait and generally not whip yourself into a self-righteous frenzy every time some moron starts rustling jimmies.

That's all you have to do to be a moderately intelligent CEman. The books help, I guess, so keep that up as well friendo.

Thanks for the encouragement, all. I was just kidding about being the smartest CEman and I certainly don't care about wooing any CEgals. I'm really only in a competition with myself. It would also be cool to have knowledge in a vast array of subjects so I can converse with knowledgeable people in multiple fields. But I'm placing emphasis on financial stuff because that was my major in college where I didn't even crack open a textbook. Plus knowing how to invest well is useful for anyone.

Seek wisdom everywhere, not just from books. Knowledge may add to intelligence, but wisdom feeds the soul. Keep at it, friend!

Appreciate it bro. I consider myself a pretty well-rounded person. I also do a pretty good job of staying physically fit and prefer jobs that require me to do teamwork.
