Originally played it on 360, later got it on PC, beaten it on both. Now replaying it on PS3 since I bought the game for my brother to play, figured he could use a co-op partner if he gets stuck (only had to help him with Sledge so far).

So of course, I've now beaten it on PS3 when he hasn't even reached New Haven. :P

Never could. I got to the vault demon in BL2 and said "Fuck it, I ain't got the time for this."

That my was third playthrough of that game. I usually stop after around Roland's death.

I really wanted to see the ending so I could play the Pre-Sequel already.

Also, Lilith > Gaige > All

I only played BL2, but I never made it through the whole thing. I could load it up and not even know what I was doing in it.

I never played the first game to be able to play as her. I only really got to use Gaige. I liked her though.

The first game is really damn good. I'd say overall 2 is more "exciting", but 1 does certain things better.

Namely, I think all the Vault Hunters are better and it did an overall better job with the open world. 2's terrain was a bit more varied and colorful, but 1 gave you a better feeling of exploration. It was also littered with hidden weapon chests and that wasn't quite the case in BL2. Also, weapons have a much more traditional look, if that's your thing. Where as BL2 weapons looked like these crazy DIY creations, BL1's were just nice looking guns with just as much variety.

They're both incredible and there's no absolutely no reason not to play one if you enjoyed the other.

I tried to go back to the first game after beating the second through uvhm a few times and just couldn't do it

Something about the second is just so much better, but I can't put my finger on it

I liked 1 a lot, then buy the end it got really repetitive and boring.

second game i got maybe halfway through, forgot where i was supposed to go, got lost...and then didnt pick it up again. idk.

Nearly everything is better about the second one, but the major improvement was in the writing.

I have Borderlands 2 on PS3 (I've watched the intro movie). I actually might have it on 360 since my system came with a code, but since that would require it being hooked up to the internet, that won't ever be redeemed.

That is how I prefer to play them.

It is like Diablo in that sense. Multiplayer can be an improvement, but they are still good solo.

As someone who owns all of them on PC and PS3, go for it. I have hundreds of hours in the series.

I still need to play Tales though.

I put in maybe 400-500 hours in Borderlands 2 but somehow can't stomach The Pre-Sequel as much. Either I am burned out from the series or TPS didn't seem to add much to the formula. Still, I am trying to beat all the quests and DLC for TPS before considering myself done with the series.
