It would drain but extremely slow.

After a few days of plunging, Drano and baking soda/vinegar, finally got the sucker flowin' free!

Yeah, it seems to happen every couple years, this time I'm gonna start cleaning that bitch once a month, like I should have before, with baking soda/vinegar/good plunge

Plus using a good drain strainer will work wonders I bet..... https://www.amazon.com/Catcher-Strainers-Kitchen-Bathroom-Stainless/dp/B019P4R8QK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497298972&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=bathtub+strainer&psc=1

drain snakes work 1000x better than Drano/liquid chemicals from my experience.

Yeah. I love my snake. And it is safer for my pipes.

I also got a drain snake but it was relatively cheap and didn't work very good for the tub pipes. Maybe on sinks/toilets it'll work better if anything happens in the future.

Does it matter on the piping?

Got a combo of PVC/metal
