Yeah. Well I want pretty minimalist for myself beyond the starter decks-- I've made two constructed decks total, vaguely working on a third but yeah.

What I have doesn't really suffice in any case. Which may have helped I guess. I mean I'm not gonna claim I made a hardcore group but it's enough to play the game a bit and we're loosely following new releases so good enough for me. If you've exposed people to the game that's really all you can do I guess.

Bolas effortlessly pwning the Gatewatch was as amusing as I hoped, especially because I forgot how snarky Bolas is when he's winning.

FFTCG is getting actual artists with their next set in Japan I hear so in time it'll have its own art, providing it lasts that long in the US.

Downloaded the eternal card game on IOS

Man, it's awesome. It's streamlined magic with all the good elements (including draft!)

Yeah, I started playing that a few days ago now that they finally released on iOS. It's quite good, though the mana screw/flood issue is still real. I kind of wish they had designed something to deal with that.

It doesn't eliminate the problem entirely, but if this is happening a lot you aren't playing enough of the cards that search for sigils.

That's possible. I haven't spent a ton of time with the game yet, so I really only have the starter decks which I'm sure aren't even close to optimized.

RNG has to come from somewhere. In magic, it's land draws. In hearthstone, it's the hyper RNG card effects. In Yu-Gi-Oh, it doesn't exist and is why the game relies on aggressive power creep and sucks

Magic's system seems to have the best outcomes to me
