I'm pretty sure my mom still expects this. When things were getting serious with my ex she even slid in there why not a black girl. I was like the older generations need to drop this shit and realize that 2 different people can share in the cultures they both celebrate. Yeah, race is so unimportant to me in a spouse and yet older generations are all over that. My Cuban friends all told me about their parents and their perception of black people and it definitely shows in their jokes and dating habits, meh. Cuba is a bit later on the ball though so it's nor a surprise. And then there's the Domincan Republic, Near's told me all about that awful stuff.

Subjects were Biology, Geography (which apparently is way different over here, made a topic about it a while ago and people here thought that it's all about naming waters, capital cities and countries etc.), French and History. I passed Geo and French but got a 4 out of 10 on the others which translates to a D? Anyways I still might be able to pass, I get the opportunity to redo History, but it's gonna be tough.
