Which is best?

Now it's on. The best of Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon's history against each other. I've included three live action shows, if you don't like it, too bad. I'm fairly confident these are the best and most memorable of these network's original programming. Which side will be the last one standing?

Nick absolutely needs to win this round, or else.

Justice League is probably the best overall cartoon on this list and also the best superhero cartoon. It had a far more varied plots, more developed characters and only one horrible episode compared to batman the animated series which honestly had more crummy and mediocre episodes than people seem to realize.

Avatar gets my vote. Justice League was great and I loved how each season was basically a comic arc, but it wasn't long enough. Unlimited was okay, but it had too many heroes and a scattered focus.

Justice League is probably the best western cartoon ever made. Better than TLA by a good measure.

Amusingly, the show was so iconic that when the Green Lantern film was being cast, there were people who complained that they thought GL was supposed to be black.

The storylines in Unlimited were generally pretty tight and most things which happened, despite seeming disconnected, usually tied into the running story whether it was the incredible one-shot "Task Force X" which functioned beautifully as a stand-alone episode or the two-part "A Better World" which introduced the Justice Lords (which simultaneously opened so many plot threads). Hell, the show even managed to give us a proper ending to Batman Beyond!

Honestly, Unlimited was really where the show hit its stride. JL focused on smaller story arcs for the most part although it introduced several major elements in addition to having a huge build-up right near the end when it segued into Unlimited.

It also includes a great reference to Frederic Wertham's book sneaked right in there that I forgot about.

JL was great, but it also had one of my current most disliked heroes as a lead, in either case though, Avatar, it was the better show honestly....

Avatar was great, but loved Justice League more. Unlimited expanding the roster definitely could annoy people who had the core 7 as their favorites, but was great in terms of exposing people to more heroes from the verse they may have not been familiar with and more plot lines.

Avatar looks like it's got the rest of these on lock if it's not even struggling with Justice League. JL is every bit as great as Batman: The Animated Series. It's one of the very best superhero shows ever made.

It's depressing but somewhat expected that Avatar would win by a margin on this board, considering it was more likely watched in the first place. JL/U was in all regards incredible and, besides serving as a perfect cap to the DCAU, also worked as a standalone. Likewise, most of the single or 2-part episodes also functioned fine without needing needing to know much of the context of the season, beginning, etc, while at the same time having running story elements, connections to other episodes, etc. By contrast, Avatar only really works as a binge-watch.

I like CN a lot more as a whole, but prefer TLA and Spongebob (seasons 2 and 3) more than any single CN show. I want CN to win this, but can't vote against those two shows, so I'm pretty conflicted.

Umm, no it wasn't. Justice League was leagues (no pun intended) above Avatar. It built upon an already established continuity started with Batman the Animated Series and was awesome.
