I have no idea what to do. Feels like there's a shitton of dead ends and it's really easy to fall and have to start over way back, even with the Lens of Truth and Shoes.

Like just now I collected some of the puzzle rupees to open up an area with big spike blocks crushing the floor. I used a block to push through it, which took a couple tries, but there was nothing even in there besides a chest of arrows, and I haven't seen anything to use arrows on.

I thought the water temple was really easy but the layout of this place is honestly baffling. This is the first time in the ge that I feel stupid.

Shadow Temple is honestly one of the worst Zelda dungeons ever made. It pretty much rides entirely on its atmosphere, but it's an incredibly bland and badly designed dungeon if you just look at it. Incredibly annoying the walk around it as well due to the types of enemies that are in it

Apparently the floor at the other end of the spike crushers is about two pixels higher so I can climb onto the box there. Still it was super unclear, and the empty cages and stuff on the walk in between and the fact the end of the room takes a right into a legit dead end didn't help and instead makes you think you didn't do something yet. I got like half a heart now

I got the key from there but now I feel even more stuck. It seems like the only thing that remains accessible is this guillotine that leads to a gigantic gap between here and a locked door. I objectively cannot make it there, even with the boots

Fun fact: Most if not all the Blue Rupee chests are supposed to contain Deku Shields if you don't have one anymore.

I'm the same way with certain Metroid games, mostly Metroid Prime. I know that game so much I can play through it in my head. And get 100% without any hitches.

Also Ocarina of Time confuses the fuck out of me now that I'm thinking about it. Like, that ending broke everything.

What moment is considered Link's "own time?" He pulled the Master Sword out on at least two separate occasions. But the bigger issue here is, Link's gonna grow up. So, unless he dies, once Past Young Link arrives in the future as Link, there will now be two Links running around. Right?

Actually I get more and more confused now that I think about it. They didn't do anything besides save the people of the future, yeah? So isn't Ganondorf still gonna fuck shit up and force Zelda into hiding? Am I remembering something wrong? How does all this work?

The Hero of Time Link disappears from the Hero of Time Timeline cause Zelda sends him back. Link no longer exists in that timeline. In child timeline, there is only the one Link. Zelda sends him back in time far enough to before Ganondorf weeds his way into the King's trust. Link and Zelda foil his plans before he can win the King's trust.

It's unrelated to any other game in the series. The game is set so far into the future that you don't have to worry about prerequisites.
