Except for 1-2 episodes, the entirety of Avatar was solid (and they even made fun of those 1-2 episodes in the brilliantly done recap episode). Great animation, great characters, great story, great action, and great comedy moments. And the world and setting were expertly crafted and fleshed out.

Teen Titans was a less good version of an existing property. Great animation (usually). But everything else tended to be hit or miss depending on which season you were watching. It had its highs, but it also had deep lows. Also a bit less impressive as again, it was an adaptation of an existing property (the original being better).

So ya, giving it to Avatar this round.

I loved Teen Titans, But Avatar was just oh so much better, I loved that series, gotta go with it.

Also: I voted Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Instead of being a kids show that insulted everyone's intelligence left and right, it was a family-friendly show with a strong narrative, loads of depth, a brand of humor, and only happens to star kids. Compare to Teen Titans, which was good for its own merits and poor for its own merits, and it starred teenagers as well as more crude or childish humor than A:TLA. The latter wasn't a bad show, but it just loses this one.

Teen Titans was pretty good as kids shows go, but Avatar was phenomenal. The character development, world-building, storytelling, animation, everything was top-notch. It's gonna be really hard to beat this.

Here's where the worm turns, considering that TLA is one of the best cartoons ever made. Granted, next round it goes up against Justice League which is probably the best cartoon ever made.

At any rate, I'm surprised that this isn't closing down the bracket for Nickelodeon.

TLA is one of the best cartoons ever, but Adventure Time is the best cartoon ever, and one of the greatest shows ever plus it's ongoing. I don't mind TLA knocking out the rest of CN, and then AT going on for the win.

If AT was not 90% filler, I would rate it much higher. Its worse than most mainstream shonen.

Avatar had a clear plot and direction. TT had arcs but it just seemed like the series diddled around until they decided to have a major plot point.
