Not seriously. I've gone out with/had sex with women I wasn't specifically that interested in because it was easy but I would never exclusively date someone like that even if they were otherwise really cool.

This isn't asking if I'm pledging my life to her, but the situation you described - great personality, into me, good chemistry (which presumably implies shared interests) - that's definitely worth at least a couple of dates to feel things out.

It's a yes if she's not actually gross/ugly. If she's just not my type but average then sure. If burn victim/landwhale then no.

I'm currently in a similar situation with a girl I met about a month ago, we're having a great time together but what feels more like an issue than the lack of attraction (she would like to drop like 20 kilos tbqh) is the fact that she's 7 years younger than me and only starting college this year, which is only going to make her "useful" in at least 4-5 years, and I'll be 36 then and surely undateable should things go south.

That's not to say she's absolutely ****ing amazing otherwise

The thing for me is that personality and chemistry are huge deal. I've known women who I found to be rather unnatractive at first. But as I got to know them a friendship developed and they turned out to be really awesome people that I clicked with in just the right way. I started seeing them differently. I realized that now I did find them attractive. If I didn't know them as well as I did I wouldn't he wanted them at all. But who they changed the way I saw them.

So in your scenario I would very likely find this person attractive if we worked on the level you describe. Even if I didn't think she looked good when we first met.
