You know. Most of the time when leaders of governments push an agenda it doesn't actually help people. So idk why I should think it'll help here.

Also why do we make all these agreements yet let other countries do whatever they want.

Not me. I voted for trump to get away from globalist bullshit like this. "Climate change" is nowhere near he biggest issue we face and trump just spoke for us who think that. Shut up about weather patterns and focus on terrorism, poverty, and the medical system that the democrats ruined.

You said you don't think it's true. Do you have an actual reason to think that or are you just shitposting?

I don't assume that most americans even know what the agreement is, and when I looked into it, the statistic came from a question that said, roughly, "The US reached an agreement in paris last year with 196 other countries to limit pollution that causes global warming. Do you think the US should participate in this agreement or not?"

I couldnt find state level data

in any case that's much more reasonable than actually asking peopel what they think of the agreement without telling them what it is

of course its overly simplistic too

How can you not be skeptical of this data when like half of the country consistently elects people who pretend climate change is a liberal hoax

In any given election, climate change is probably not the primary issue. In this past presidential election, there were 0 debate questions about it.

Here's the poll in question
https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2017/05/most-americans-support-staying-in-the-paris-agreement/528663/

It seems they extrapolated state level support from a national poll of 1,300. I'd be more confident of the National result than the state claim

Yeah, that's... a really small sample size. That only averages out to 26 people per state.
