RE_expert44 06/01/17 1:57:42 PM #1:	I just drove next to some who kept doing this. Every time they got to a red light they would reach over and stop their car. Then fire it up when it went green. Do they think this will save them gas? Early during my undergrad my car had a pretty bad overheating problem, and it was especially bad when Dallas traffic would cause my usual 40 minute drive home to take hours. The only reason my car endured 100 degree summer temperatures stuck in hours worth of traffic is because I would literally kill the engine, shift neutral and roll down the slow highways to the lights and restart when needed. Of course that all depended on my car's thermostat reading, as I'm sure stopping the car is damn stupid otherwise.
