There is none. You have classic, all star, and a new orders mode which is fight a bunch of gimmick matches

Afaik I don't think sse was well received so itd make sense to not bring it back for this installment

Supposedly the reason why there was none was that Sakurai was pissed that the cutscenes for SSE got put up on Youtube just hours after the Japanese launch and figured it wasn't worth the effort if people were just gonna go watch it online.

SSE's idea was hype and the cutscenes were hype. I liked the bosses too. Level-to-level execution was lacking though, but I'd like to see them try again sometime.
