Board 8 > ITT: Make an Overwatch character

I occasionally toss around ideas in my head for what might be an interesting new addition, figured this would be a good place to put it. Might even do art for it if I feel up to it.

I know there's a decent amount of Overwatch players on here, and a decent amount of creative people do, some hopefully there's some overlap

The one I was thinking of today that specifically inspired this topic:

Name: Isaak Jung
Codename (if applicable): Deacon
Class: Support
HP: 300
Basic Description: Young German male originating from Eichenwalde. Themed like a Holy Knight or Cleric. Wears long white robes and carries a broadsword (sort of like a complement to Mercy and Reinhardt appearance-wise).
Background: Very religious man who lived in Eichenwalde as a very young child, before its destruction. Cast out on his own, he was left to use his faith to provide him strength, and strength he did receive. Whether it was truly holy power or innate ability all along is anyone's guess, but he found himself able to heal wounds (and create them), both in himself and others. Wanting to bring justice to the ravaged world he grew up in, he sought out the legendary Reinhardt for training.
Attacks: While his focus is healing, he's just a step below a tank in terms of raw strength and health. He can only attack melee with his broadsword, doing just a bit less than Reinhardt with his swings.
Ability 1: Soar - Can glide in a straight path, moving at 250% speed and taking 33% damage. He cannot damage anyone while gliding, but can interrupt his glide with a melee strike. If ending the glide this way, the strike will do double damage. Glide will also stop if he runs into a wall, dealing no damage.
Ability 2: Prayer - Deacon will kneel on the ground and begin healing himself, at a rate similar to Bastion. Cannot do anything else while praying.
Ability 3: Blessing - His main source of providing support. Will cast a white astral blessing at a pre-selected ally, which will heal 100 damage over a very quick period. Each healing blessing will go on a brief cooldown.
Ultimate: Enlighten - Deacon will scream and thrust his broadsword into the ground. A white blast will spread throughout a certain radius. All allies in the radius will be brought to full health. Likewise, all enemies in the radius will lose and healing they've received in the last 5 seconds (this includes Mei's ice-healing, Roadhog's self-healing, Lucio/Mercy's gradual health recharge, AND Resurrections. Does not affect health provided by shields, like Zarya, Zenyatta and Symmetra).

Thoughts? Plan on getting a rough drawing done for it. Also probably needs tweaked for balance (which is why I tried to remain vague on some things).

I saw a video of cool fan-made overwatch characters. One of my favorites was a dog named Rescue. She gets a passive speed boost the longer she runs, and she can pick up and deliver health packs to people.

Yeah I've seen a couple fanmade ones; it was part of the inspiration for this.

I never put too much thought in an entire character but I always thought there should be a character with an AoE Ultimate that lowered the cooldown times of your teammates. It'd be fun at least.

Name: Mary Holden
Codename: Bloody Mary
Class: Support
HP: 250
Basic Description: A young blonde woman, long white gloves, spider choker, blood-stained battle vest, black goth skirt, combat boots, carries a spellbook and small dagger.
Background: This young woman was raised on everything horror, and was inspired by the stories of Junkenstein and the Witch especially to look into the dark and arcane arts, which she firmly believed Mercy practiced. She paid Sombra to help her steal Mercy's scientific work, and twisted it into her own maligned version.
Attacks: Can switch between her spellbook and dagger. With her dagger, she performs quick deadly stabs, gaining health with each hit. While using her spellbook, she can switch between swarms of bats, snakes, or rats, which affect the enemy each in a different way (bats disorient, snakes tangle, and rats damage).
Dagger Ability 1: Dagger Lunge - Charges at the enemy performing a devastating stab (15s cooldown)
Dagger Ability 2: Multistab - Performs a flurry of stabs in rapid succession (10s cooldown)
Spellbook Ability 1: Zoology - Switches animal attack. (No cooldown, but switching gets rid of any active animals)
Spellbook Ability 2: Siphon - Drains and transfers health from enemies into her teammates. (10s cooldown)
Spellbook Ability 3: Howl of the Damned - Knocks enemy's back with a 3s slowdown effect (12s cooldown)
Ultimate: Blood Curse - Shrouds the arena in darkness for enemies for 10s, curses enemies with draining health and ultimate that transfers to nearby teammates, and Bloody Mary can insta-kill one enemy.
