also the Air Force mainly deploys from US land/territory. Their vehicles are fast enough that they don't need to be right next to the country to do a mission, thats the entire point.

The USAF is two thirds of the nuclear triad (ICBMs and bomber-based nuclear weapons), the Navy being the third part of that equation with nuclear SLBMs. ... Copied to Clipboard!
