Kiss would work though, as Paul Stanley sang most of the time, but Gene Simmons was the face of the band. You could argue for Led Zeppelin, Page is often given more credit than Plant and Bonham is one of the most famous/influential drummers ever. Cream-- Ginger Baker & Eric Clapton both get more acclaim than Jack Bruce. The Who-- Townsend is always mentioned before Daltrey.
