Nyeeeh.
It's a real hit or miss. Some people love it. Some people hate it. What is your experience and opinion on previous beth games? It's very stripped back in almost every single way compared to previous games. But the formula is familiar enough that if you're just in it for open world shits and gigs etc that you might get some fun out of it. The shooter aspect is rather good though, I like to think of the game as an open world shooter instead of RPG. I'd pay $30 for the game + DLC. --- please help ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yes. While it's inferior to New Vegas, it's still a fun game. Its pretty much Skyrim to New Vegas' Oblivion. People hate on the game way too much.

Fallout 4 is worth twenty, sure. Not all its DLC is amazing, but Far Harbor and Nuka-World combined give about $30 worth of good times. Automatron, which adds robot companions and a short campaign, ain't bad either...just short. The workshop DLC (adds items to settlement builder tools) tend to be of middling interest.

It was an OK game. I beat it but it honestly felt like I was working a second job and not getting paid for it. AKA, the whole thing felt like a massive chore with very little reward.
You'll probably get your money's worth if just using the "time played" metric, but overall it's not a very good/satisfying title imo. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I didn't care for it but $20 is a steal for the number of hours. Only get the dlcs if enjoy the main game and want more content.
