Trying to faithfully adapt them into a real live-action movie while also maintaining a "coolness" factor is a big big challenge. I'm actually impressed they've looked as decent as they have for the most part. They only agreed to let Marvel do the movie because they hoped some of that Disney magic would rub off on them. Disney's not stupid. They've got a hero who's gonna bring in money regardless, and they don't get to keep him, so a 6/10 is all they're aiming for. Why raise somebody else's kid to be a star? It sucks, but it is what it is.
