I don't get what you people are complaining about. The guy blew up a concert of a pop star know for her provocative songs and sexy image and the concert was chiefly attended by women. Imagine a suicide bombing at an Anne Coulter speech. Who would try to deny it wasn't an attack aimed at conservatives primarily?

Hmm, I don't see how she's blaming white men here. It's quite obvious that these radical ideologies exist in patriarchies. What's typical of the patriarchy? Violence against women.

That said, I think it's fairly safe to say that women are far from the only victims of these kinds of attacks, so her tweet is indeed quite silly and in poor taste. Still, the terrorists are products of a patriarchy, no way around that.

We don't know enough about the shooter's motives yet to say why he picked that specific concert. It's possible that it was just the best opportunity that lined up with when he was ready to go. BUT, the possibility also exists that he waited for this specific concert because he knew young girls would be there. He wouldn't be the first bitter loser to target the females who wouldn't give him the time of day. We shouldn't try to deny that possibility exists. The Florida nightclub was chosen because of homosexuality. It's possible the concert was chosen because of women. It's not like Islam is big on women's rights. The truth is we don't know yet, so we can't dismiss the possibility.

you could argue that. It just requires you to ignore pulse, san bernadino, the various attacks where they've used trucks as weapons, the attacks at the eagles of death metal concert.
also ignore the whole trip to Libya thing( and what a colossal fuck up we've(Americans) left it)

These attacks happen because the perpetrators seek martyrdom, committing such acts are a free pass to heaven in their eyes. The west is sinful, they grow up in a sinful atmosphere, and this is how they atone.

the september attacks were not an attack of "office people", the london bus attacks were not attacks on "bus users" and the madrid metro attacks were not attacks on "metro users". They're attacks on feasible western targets because they don't like democracy, Christianity and because of political reasons (e.g. war, war campaigns, foreign policy, etc).

This was not "let's be patriarchal, we don't like womyns".

Ok I'll just outright say it. It's likely not about patriarchy, or about western patriarchy at least. It's likely about radical Islam and their view on women and how the type of girls who go to concerts like that go entirely against their beliefs. It's just like the Orlando shooting incident.
Why would they target a concert which has much less civilians there rather than something much more public like a park? Why DID they target Ariana grande's concert rather than anywhere else? It's very likely because the audience was filled with the type of women they believe is a sin for Islam.
Your first question is kind of irrelevant. Would the Orlando shooter have still attacked another nightclub if it weren't filled with LGBT people either?

If you are looking at domestic violence, women commit more of it then men, which is why lesbians tend to have the highest domestic violence rate and gay men the lowest. You however came out and said its typical of patriarchy to use violence to suppress women, and that the west was a patriarchy.
You know a country whose domestic violence laws are based on feminist theory is a patriarchy that violently suppresses women.
