David – Will soon pass Kora for 4th longest Undisputed Championship reign (74 v. 76); passed Whiskey Nick for 16th in all-time singles championship days (226); will soon pass Sir Chris and Apollo for 23rd in all-time overall championship days (254 v. 256 v. 258)

Wigs – 26th in all-time LW Championship days (53); 10th in all-time overall championship days (474)

I was curious and looked at how my current MoT reign would reflect changes in my rankings (if officially recognized). Note, these numbers are based on current stats, since no one else's numbers with said title would be added. Zazi and Luster (among others) would see huge jumps, since they also had good reigns with it.

Strife* (Taybles title not officially recognized; stats are for hypothetical posterity) – 9th overall reign; 74 days as Taybles Champion (longest overall title reign); would move from 51st to 28th in all-time singles championship days (154); would move from 37th to 27th in all-time overall championship days (249)

That jump in singles numbers would be pretty crazy. I was never the "title" guy until about 2-3 years into my run. Still, pretty interesting to actually see in written form.

eaed, after two successive tag losses it looks as though we aren't likely to challenge for the tag titles again any time soon, though I am definitely interested in one final reign.

But there is a title that I haven't held for almost 6 years, a title that came to define me for a short while...a title I miss dearly. And right now, the competition in the HW division is too hot for me. There is only one singles championship in the UCA that has never undergone any changes and has remained pure for its entire existence. I want to be part of that purity.

I'm not sure if the other admins will allow this, but in fairness, even Solio has held the title this year, so it's not like I'm too good for it or something. So yeah. I want a crack at the LW title. I want to hold it once more before the end of UCA. Call it an item on the bucket list if you want.

I'll do whatever necessary to make this happen.

Well here we are UCA. Usually I come out here and I talk about an elaborate plan or my next move to be the top guy. But this time is different.

It's been a long 5 years. I've done almost everything thst I wanted to do while I was in UCA. One of the most decorated superstars in UCA history, SultanofSlam has decided to hang up his boots a few months early. As only he can do, he left under his own power.

Strife Seizes Another Opportunity
After losing at Summer Spectacular, King Strife decided to put focus back on his lengthy Master of Taybles title reign, forgoing his dream of becoming Undisputed Champion. That was until he was given the GM's option to vacate the MoT for a second opportunity. He is comfortable waiting for David to make things even harder for himself. David, Strife, and David's choice of opponent will face off in a triple threat title match at the PPV.

XIII's Bucket List
It's hard to fathom XIII needing to prove anything at this point, long since defining himself as the #1 man in most of UCA's record books and long-running GM. However, he is dead set on reclaiming the LW title. With the run Wigs is on, it won't be easy.

Challenging Choices
Eaed has given an edict that all championship matches (sans the vacated MoT) will feature opponents of both he and each champion's choosing. David, The Kingdom, DP, and Wigs have until the end of Ruin to choose, before Eaed decides BOTH opponents for them.

All across the marvelous land of the UCA that we rule...hear us, as we announce the pair fated to fight us in a Tag Team Triple Threat.

The Kingdom...is greatest tag team to grace the UCA. We do not want the fact that we've come to deliver the Tag Team division into its final days as its final champions to distract from that fact. Between the 3 of us, we've beaten Simply Rich (and Sultan into an early retirement), Future Rocks (twice!), Boko United, and even the famed Whiskey on the Rocks.

But there comes to mind another team--a team with an opposing monarch I'd like to prove superiority over. A monarch....who eliminated me last at the Royal Rumble! A monarch who has yet to receive his royal punishment!

For what feels like the fifteenth time, I'll explain that there's no secret that CPU and I need to finish things. Two weeks ago, I made sure to let it be known that my focus was squarely on a potential upcoming battle with him, and it still is. If it were up to me, this would have been settled a long time ago, in a one on one match, no distractions, and I'm sure if it were up to you, you'd rather not be here at all, not fighting me, not finishing this. But you're here, and we will.

However, I thought I'd tie this whole thing up in a neat little bow. I've got some contractual obligations to fill out as Undisputed Champion, and you've got an extreme hatred for titles. The way I see it, I can play on both of those things at once.

What I'm trying to say, is, that I am officially choosing CPU as my other opponent at Champions and Challengers!

Did you want a one on one match? Too bad. No title to get in the way? Tough luck. You've made me sit through your bullshit, and your company’s bullshit, so now you'll have to sift through mine if you want to finish this.

The way I see it, you're doomed to misery either way. What'll likely happen is I'll emerge victorious, both defending my title and finally dealing with you. What could also happen, although highly unlikely, is that you somehow come out with a victory, in which case you'll be forced to wear the Undisputed title around your waist.

I haven't forgotten about you, Strife. I mean, how could I, after what you just put me through?

You and I fought, physically and mentally, you played with my mind, and I became, even for just a moment, a person I did not want to become. You put me through Hell and back, you dragged past demons to the surface, reminded me of successes and failures, and, when possible, you took away much of what I've worked so hard for.

And yet, despite that, I came out with a win, barely. We could have run that match back and I'd be the least surprised person if the result turned out differently, but it didn't, and here we are.

Except, this isn't the same match. You know, you're all about chaos, aren't you Strife? About the unexpected, the mysterious. Well, I've added some chaos into our match this time. Sure you can focus on me, just as CPU probably wants to, but at the end of the day there are three men in this match, three physical beings, and three minds to deal with.

I'm not distracted, not yet. I've got CPU and you to deal with, but everyone in this match has two people to deal with. You both are just as alone as I am. There is no advantage.

The situation is a little different now, isn't it? I continue to ask myself, have I learned from our last match? Am I more mentally capable after what you put me through? Hard to say really, and if I'm being honest, probably not. But I do know now, that even through it all, there is hope for perseverance just as I did on that day a few weeks ago. So test me Strife, mentally, physically, however you see fit, because, yeah, it'll get to me, it'll weaken me, it'll screw with my head. And, yeah, it might change the tide of war, it might be enough for you to get one over on me, and become champion. All I know is that I'm ready. Ready for you, ready for chaos, and ready to go through hell one more time.

However during the two week break Oi took, upon... thinking about it. ...this was about defending SSW's honour, and Oi have been informed by me friends, they aren't bothered about it, and, as you said... you don't care about SSW. That this is between me and you, and you don't care about me. ...So. What is the point? To assuage your ego. and to make me angry? *Grins.*

You're speaking to a man without shame, or ego, boy. A man that's been making shit up off the top of his head for the past three months and apparently that beng enough to succeed in this shithole because no one else other than Strife or the Unhatched Warrior was fucking trying until the damned company announced it was closing down.

Oh, Oi know, my name will be on the paper on the PPV regardless after your announcement, as Oi know that come 'Mania Oi'll be put against fucking Luster Soldier for 'one final Dream Match'... and Oi know no matter what, you're going to pretend however the 'match' at Champions and Challengers goes, that this is a win for you. *grins even wider.* And Oi'm fine with that. Take all the time you want. Pretend to think that you'll be any more relevant anywhere else than in the UCA, because in 6 months, everyone is going to care about SSW just as much as they do this newly non-existant company: not at all.

See, here's the thing, CPU, we both agree that I don't care, and I really don't. I don't care if you retire, if you go back to wherever you think you belong, or if you don't show up to our match. You love to bring up how this is all about my ego, but I really couldn't care less if I get to beat you or not. I don't need a match to prove that I am the superior superstar.

I want to fight you because we have unfinished business, because I like to put on a worthwhile show, and because, deep down, I know you're the type of superstar who can put on that kind of show with me.

I am still the Undisputed Champion. I am still at the top of the chain in the UCA, and still the leading man as we grow ever-closer to that final day.

But make no mistake, there was no victory for me tonight. I did not win, despite coming out of my match as the title holder, and I have no one to blame but myself. Before my match, I explained that I would come out of my battle the same way I went in: as champion. Did I technically stay true to my word? Yes. But this is not the champion I am. I'm not here to win on technicalities, or abuse my champion's advantage to protect my title from being taken away, and yet tonight I did just that. I'm here to prove my dominance, prove that I'm the best there is in the UCA, that I deserve to be the owner of the 3rd longest Undisputed Championship reign of all time.

Most of all, though, I'm here to echo the words that I spoke of before that fateful match that won me the title all those months ago: I'm ready.

Tonight, I wasn't ready, and I'm thankful that my physical abilities kept me in a match I wasn't mentally prepared for.

Next time, I will be. You have my word.

Now, the result of this match doesn't only have to do with me failing to capitalize when victory was right in front of me.

Strife has proven time and time again that he and I are near-equals, and today, we were. Throughout our two matches, he has provided me with challenges unlike any I've faced in my time here at the UCA. This time, he had the mental edge, something that I'll compliment him on.

Strife has pushed me to my limits, and has torn me apart in more ways than I can count, but I wouldn't be the champion I aim to be if I didn't recognize true competition when I see it.

I suspect, especially after tonight's result, that this isn't over just yet, and I couldn't be more excited because of it.
