Not always the case. I've known a few guys that were dumped and their girlfriend or wife started dating women. It hurts them a lot too on different levels, as I understand it.

1. You can compete if it's another man. But a man is not really going to offer what a woman offers.

That's fine, but I've provided the answer as best as I can.

Another element is that it's typically deliberate when a lesbian goes to sleep with a man it is to hurt an ex even more because everyone involved knows she isn't attracted to the man. It's a bit more excusable if you slept with another woman because you fell in love with her.

Using sex as revenge I can understand, I guess. I've seen girls cheat on their boyfriends because they were upset about something he did or said. I take it this is a variation on that kind of thing.
