Oh goddammit. I knew they were gonna pull a TTGL ending where the bride dies at the wedding.

I definitely feel like they should have gone for a full hour finale. There were just too many things rushed and packed into the episode.

I really don't know how to feel about this ending to be honest.

On one hand, it's good to finally see the series get closure. And Jack actually gets "back to the past" to fulfill his true purpose.

On the other hand, the ending was just so... anticlimactic.

This is exactly how I feel.

It's nice that series gets closure, but it was just so rushed.

Ashi mastered Aku's powers and used them to create a time portal right after she got control of her body back?
Then Jack kills Aku in less than a minute?
And then we get an extremely rushed wedding scene where the only major line of dialogue revolves around Ashi telling Jack that she won't be born because Aku is dead...
Then the series ends with Jack alone underneath a tree.

It would've been nice to have Jack remember everyone in the future one last time, not just Ashi. (All of them would've ceased to exist too.)
Whatever happened to the gods too? I thought that they would congratulate Jack on finishing his quest.

Also, keep in mind this was the weakened Aku that sent Jack to the future in the first place. He was literally backed into a corner from a fight he just had.
