Technically, 2001 would win on any other site hands down. It's incredibly deep. In my opinion if MGS2 was in the match pic, it would do better. It's actually funny that 1998 has MGS1 and really doesn't need it at all.

I definitely underestimated the non-FF7 games of 97. I was shocked looking at the pic and seeing Goldeneye, SotN, Mario Kart, etc.
But then, I picked my bracket on instinct intentionally, and I probably wouldn't be here if I'd been more deliberate, so there you go. --- yet all sailors of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
