Yup. Their restaurants (on the surface) look pretty good now.

No. I don't go to McD's anymore. They stopped with their dollar menu and started charging $8 for a burger. I'll go to a real restaurant or any of its better competitors for that.

Went this morning. Nice looking place. Slick menus.

Got a biscuit sausage and egg sandwich. Had them add jalapeño slices in it... was really good.

Agreed. When has Taco Bell ever advertised themselves as fresh, not frozen, high quality, 100%, etc etc? They're pretty much just always "lol we're Taco Bell here's chicken nuggets shaped like Doritos! Haha wicked!"

I loved the look as a kid. The one in my hometown was kinda tacky with lots of old stuff on the walls and old people and kid sections with all the mascots. Own the nostalgia look!

But honestly, having just now hears it for the first time, this is kind of a hilarious idea. A good move, though. They're realizing all the money is in fast casual. Bad news for me, though. As I will no longer be going there if I can't get lunch for $5-6.

Yes. That whole dollar menu thing fucked their quality up. Everything was rushed and slapped together. They went with the classic "good, cheap, quick" approach, sacrificing their quality for cheap, quick crap.
