We also revealed a key piece of information that many of you have been waiting some time for now - we can indeed confirm that the original Life is Strange team at DONTNOD are working on a brand new Life is Strange game. We can’t wait to tell you all about it when the time is right, but for now we are hard at work ensuring it is the very best game we can create. We’re really thankful for your patience thus far and ask for a bit more time. The new game will not be at E3 in June this year but we will be watching the show alongside you all and wish everyone good luck!

I'm expecting a whole new cast, but a story that references events in Arcadia Bay and ties into some kind of myth arc explaining more about how (and why) time travel works in this universe.

IMO, they could do a straight sequel if it involved something like having someone else change the past so that it doesn't match either ending, and then Max ends up 'fighting' an unknown opponent to create the best timeline she can.

I'm hyped, but I'm going to wait for more details before I get too hyped.

The ending of LiS didn't leave much room for a direct sequel so I'm not expecting one. There also isn't much more they can do with time travel since we already know the consequences of messing with time so messing with time again would be lame. I hope they have a completely new cast of characters centered around a new supernatural power.
