However, it fucked over Marvel because it led to the cancellation of Spectacular Spider-Man in favor of that terrible Ultimate Spider-Man. Plus the films have featured a lot of questionable decisions, although I haven't seen GotG1&2, Ant-Man, and a few others so there might be some quality there. IM1 was good, IM2 was meh, Thor was meh, Avengers 1 was ugh, Cap1 was decent, Civil War was ok, etc. The biggest surprise, however, is that Sony started producing pretty decent X-Men-related films.
