I asked her how her day was during dinner, she said it wasn't good, and I asked her to talk to me about it. She told me some dude at the store she works at was asking for a drill and she told him they don't have any power tools and then he made a comment saying something like "I bet you have a ton of power tools at home in your night stand" and I have no idea why but I burst out laughing when she said it.
She said it wasn't funny and called me a dick before getting up and going to the other room.

How fucked am I?

We're both in college, her parents own the store and she works there part time.

I considered making a topic about it but didn't think anyone would remember the original topic or care. It seems to have more or less worked itself out after the initial shock and emotions died down, she was adamantly against abortion or adoption (even within the family) but her parents seen you have helped convince her to familial adoption. Her great aunt and uncle have raised 4 different foster children over a period of 40 years and the last one just recently moved out, seems like they're going to adopt the kid. They're very financially secure, something neither me and her really are being college students and they seem to be being really cool towards me and me situation as well, not wanting child support or anything. I haven't really decided how we're going to do things as far as me being a part of their life or not. I mean I'd like to he but given the situation I think I'm just going to leave it up there her and her family and respect their decision either way.
It caused quite a bit of drama with my current gf but we worked all of that out.

I'm glad it all worked out decently for everybody. Sounds like you'll have the opportunity to be part of the kids life later, when you're ready for it. It's always good to have that option imo, even if you choose not to use it.

This place is full of people with all sorts of issues so it's only natural that'd we'd gravitate and date people who also have mental issues.

I've been with a lot of women who suffer from depression and had severe mood swings and shit and the best thing to do is to just give them space.
