Poll of the Day > After watching Tarantino's Django Unchained again, I wish it was split into two

SPOILERS

Just like he did with Kill Bill, I truly wish he would have split this monster of a movie into two parts

Part One: Dr Schultz and Django have discovered eachother and would spend the movie catching the Brittle Bros / forming an alliance / learning to hunt.

Part Two: Going after Django's wife / Finding Calvin Candy / roleplaying through Candyland.

The entire second half would have been more than enough to entertain the audience :/

I see no value in breaking it up especially because the story dragged enough as is and wouldn't make for two narrative arcs. Plus the whole thing sucked other than the Calvin Candy mansion stuff.

I didn't really care for the movie. The whole thing felt rather lifeless and tired. Which isn't how any Tarantino movie should feel, but it did.
