I'm going to miss the quasi-peace I guess I feel here. Maybe one of these days, we can have a Missouri Meet-up when I get a car, let's show some Missouri pride. I know we talked about it before, but nothing ever came out officially.

Still though, being back home, spending time with my family, eating 3 meals a day (my own fault right now, I am lazy), celebrating my 19th birthday, hanging out with my Best Bud Always, and the overall luxury of the home-life will be nice.

When I do come back though, the first day of school is going to be during a Solar Eclipse. You really think I am going to miss a once in a lifetime event (hell, some people don't even get to experience it in their lifetime) for a few minutes of class? HA! That would be so disrespectful towards nature and the many who could have only dreamed of viewing such a phenomenon. That gives me something to look forward to.

Also, I never hated the guy, but having a roommate that I never talked to (I am not joking here guys, not even a Hey, what's up) is too awkward. Can't wait for my Single Suite with my own bathroom next year!

3 of the people that I feel I have befriended over the year will be returning to the same Hall, so I am glad I will not have to start all over, but I am really hoping I can make even more friends next year. Who knows, maybe I can even find that special someone for the first time, or hell, at least maybe get my first kiss (lol).

If my grades stay where they are right now (or maybe even better if Calc II wants to join in on the A party with the extra credit I am getting), then I can officially call this year perhaps my most successful year ever in all aspects of my life Seriously did not think I would make even one friend this year, that was my biggest fear, but I made around 6 friends without even trying (or perhaps it is because I did not try that helped me make friends). Unfortunately, 1 I will never see again (but he was kind of a douche anyways) and the other two are questionable (1 of them was annoying, but he was just a nice dude, so I will miss him tbh; the other was Floor staff, and he might pop by from time to time, we are FB friends now if that means anything). 2 girls were starting to warm up to me at the end too (not in a romantic sort of way, just a "strikes up a good conversation" situation), so maybe we could have became friends if it was not so late. Of course, there were a few others who I talked to quite a bit, and I will miss them too.

The funny thing is that there a few people from High School here that I was a part of their social group I guess, and we never talk now. Really confirms what I always knew, I was never one of their friends. Perhaps that is why High School was not enjoyable, my only friend was my Best Bud, and he is two grades below me, so we could only talk before school, during lunch, and after school. It made me feel worthless, unable to fit in with anybody, and I had no hope for myself in the future. Not saying they are bad people, but I was not their friend, and obviously I was being a burden, which is really sucky to say because it makes me feel like a total loser, that I could not even fit in with the social group I was a part of.

I probably will not get my first girlfriend, my first date, or first kiss even, but who needs that when you have friends, right?

I have not gone to any parties, or done anything illegal. My whole year was in the main lobby, watching TV, playing some video games, and maybe that is all I need.

I really hope this is not the best year of College for me (Freshmen year was the best year of High School for me).

Just finished mine too, glad yours went well. My roommate also never talked, it was awkward as fuck, so I feel that lol. Our dorms have community bathrooms too which were the worst. But yeah, enjoying the summer now and looking forward to next semester. What're you majoring in?

Yeah, during the Summer Welcome we had, we were in a community style hall, and while I was fine for that one night, I don't think I could do that the whole year. That is when I decided I needed a suite. These colleges make it seem like your roommate will become one of your best friends, but I don't think the great majority of people care for their roommates.

Also, I am hopefully majoring in Business with an emphasis in Accounting (need around a 3.6 GPA after my second year, will still be above that after this semester, but I am going to have a rough schedule it seems like next semester).

I don't know, I tried to be friendly, but he never really tried back I think. He could just like the peace of the quiet time he has in the room. He had his friends, I had mine, we even had a shared friend. Still never talked.

Oh, I am sure I will be like that a few times. I only get to see my family 4.5 months out of the year though now, so I do not mind the few annoyances (actually many with my 8 year old sister and 2 year old sister (who is almost 3)).
