I know some of you are already at that point. I'm sad because I feel like maybe I don't care about games anymore, where once it was a source of sweet joy.

Very normal IMO.

I've become WAAAAAY more casual over the years. I just don't really immerse myself in a game anymore, it's more just fun in short bursts on a weekend.

I'm 37 and want to play games more than ever every day :D

Any of them and all of them. Except I think I only bought two AAA titles in the last 3 years.

This is exactly why despite obviously having the weakest consoles, Nintendo will always and forever have the best games.

Ive been out of games for like the past 5 years. I just would rather do other things in my free time. And with the time I do have, I feel like it's not enough to really get enough out of the games.

I rarely play anything anymore. Sometimes I will marathon a season on FIFA, or throw a couple hours into whatever garbage Call Of Duty craps out (mostly just to play with friends for a bit). But I don't even have those games anymore.

I actually only own one game right now, Horizon Zero Dawn. Which admittedly I've been playing for hours at a time.

Playing through these types of games is rare for me anymore though. The last ones I remember doing were Far Cry 4, GTA5, Far Cry 3 and Red Dead Redemption >_>.

to be honest, it seems like most of the things i enjoyed about games that kept me playing are more or less gone. occasionally i'll find a game like DOOM 2016, Persona 5, or Dark Souls 3 (only 3 games this gen that I truly thought were amazing) that gets me back into things, but at this point I feel like gaming has kind of left me for the new generation of players, if that makes sense

I think part of it is oversaturation now that i'm an adult with adult money and can buy any decent looking game that ever comes out.

Where before i'd have my one game for a few months and I better squeeze all the life I can out of it.

I still love games, but I only enjoy replaying games that I already love. Can't dedicate myself to get into new stuff or something that requires a ton of time and effort. Like replaying Dishonored or MGS3 or Deus Ex or jump in and play a few hours of Overwatch is what I enjoy. I want to get Persona 5, but I know it probably just won't grab me, not right now at least.

There are so many I'd love to play, but I just can't fit them in like I would like. That's ok though. It's life. I do dedicate every Tues night to play for a few hours and maybe 2 hours on weekends. I have to be really picky about what I play these days

I am kinda fortunate that my house has a basement and I've dedicated a part of it to house a few arcade games. It's easy to just pick those up and play for a few min

I still bought them, but I never played them.

I've found the biggest problem to be I don't have the time to really dive into the sorts of games I used to like to play any longer. I'm married, have a full time job etc. so it's not like I have 6 hours to sit down and play an RPG very frequently. Games like that don't tend to be enjoyable when I play them in shorter sessions because I feel like I can't get immersed. Feels bad.

I'm 32 and I don't play many anymore. Not because I don't want to, but because of how all the developers have bent over to the casuals and only churn out shitty, simplified kiddie games now. Blizzard is especially bad for this, considering their track record before Activision got involved.
---
I have a signature. Apparently this is important, but I still don't have my secret cool kid decoder ring yet.

Absolutely true for me. It's like, I know The Witcher III is an amazing game, but I can never really give it the play session it demands.

Some of my friends have lost interest in gaming over the years, but sadly it's usually due to them not managing their money well enough to afford gaming anymore and not due to lack of interest in gaming itself.
