What's the policy on that? It's not 'illegal activities' where I live. Is discussing it on here bannable??

You may or may not get modded.

It depends on the current cycle of the moon, your horoscope, the day of the week, etc...

Wait so there's not any like...set-in-stone rules and policies around it?

Christ it's been legal since DEC. 2012 here. Is it really modworthy? It's been 5 years...

GF doesn't operate under the laws of Colorado.

What does GF operate under? Just whatever the moderator who is on today this Tuesday afternoon feels like?

Dude if there aren't written-out policies about it then that's absolutely stupid that I can't talk about it. SO it's basically a "You find out when it's too late and your post is already moderated"?

General rule: if it isn't legal federally, it probably isn't allowed.

Tho I have noticed there are... Inconsistencies on moderations based on weed. Sometimes you can get away with saying you smoke, sometimes you get an nkl or 3kl. Never anything major.

Based on federal law. For example, you can't say you'd fuck a minor even if you're a minor yourself and Romeo and Juliet laws are in your state thus making it legal.

it's now legal in half the country. but the mods still will be shills to the feds

imagine in like 10 years when it's legal in all 50 states but still federally banned and the only city where you can be arrested for it is DC, and the mods still ban for it

Just to clear something up, the rule on drug discussion has nothing to do with federal law. It's because GameFAQs, as a privately owned and operated site, is allowed to have a rule stating that discussing your drug use is not allowed. Even if weed became federally legal, the rule could still stay if that's what CBSI wanted.

Didn't the mods, or Allen, lock game boards that turned into drug discussion hotbeds?

Dunno. Boards have been locked from discussion for various reasons over the years. I still don't fully understand why Barney Hide and Seek was locked.

I only know about that from binging on WikiFAQS years ago. And all it said was "Mass trolling." I mean, I can see how people will be assholes on a Barney related thing, but I didn't think anyone looked for boards to do that with. Then again, Cory in the House happened.

I never once got modded for discussing it when I was doing it legally in WA and I discussed it rather openly. I was very careful with how I worded it though and didn't flaunt it or anything.

If you're shitposting about all the "totally sikk bong u just ripped w/ ur BRO" and etc., you'll probably get modded. If you discuss experiencing games/music/etc. under "certain influences," you might be okay.
