So tired can barely get out of bed

Unable to do simple things like even brushing your teeth

And that headache man

Well if you think that might happen, you know maybe you shouldn't.

When I broke my back I was on oxycodone 30's twice a day for 5&1/2 years. Decided to quit taking them one day cold turkey, THAT was fucking hell. The withdrawals had me doubled over in agony for 6 days of pure hell and the post acute withdrawal symptoms lasted almost 2 fucking years. I literally wanted to kill myself. It's the same thing as heroin withdrawal, except it was legal.

Dang. Do you ever feel like you still want oxy anymore?

All the time dude. Haven't relapsed in over a year either but any time I get stressed out or depressed or angry my mind starts doing mental gymnastics in a subconscious attempt at convincing myself to go do one. It literally took me months before I could wake up in the morning without hot flashes and cold chills every fucking day and sneezing like crazy because your antihistamines are all borked. Long term use actually causes a physical change in the way your brain fumctions. Not sure specifically how but iirc it has something to do with changing the way your nerve receptors fire or something like that.

So after going through months of feeling horrible just to get back to the point where I feel normal I don't think I'll ever touch an opiate again until I'm on hospice. I've already dealt with my dopamine levels being non existent for weeks so I got really good at dealing with any kind of pain because of it. It's really fucking hard to quit, I tried quitting for two years but when my kid was born I finally found a reason and the willpower to muscle through it.

Sorry for the pity party story but it I can convince even one young person to stay away from painkillers then I'll be extremely happy to explain my story anytime.

Yeah. That's a great story.

I have bad acid reflux. So if I eat too many things to trigger that I could have heartburn like feelings for 2 or 3 days. It's hell. Totally unable to eat during it.

But I can't stop drinking coffee. It's too delicious. Ugh. I'm trying to do one cup a day....

It was too hard. I was used to 3 cans of monster a day for years, I can't just stop cold turkey like that
