Hm I need to warm up before I get right back into Doom's pokemon adventures, after all I left off mid battle and if I don't nail the character I am going to be really upset with myself. Looks like I need to write some Doom in another setting to see if I can still get the tone right. To see if the good doctor still speaks to my muse with the passion he did before.

Doctor Doom surveyed the lot before him, varying degrees of desperation, illness, and general ineptitude were somewhat proudly displayed before him. He did not know what to make of each of these people, nor why his servant Christopher had insisted on bringing them to his attention, but given he had just laid waste to the pathetic wizard who had ensnared him in a time trap for several years he could use a distraction before setting his eyes to matters he considered worthy of his time.

"You," he said pointing to the boy named Kevin, "Speak."

Kevin was a smart lad and knew to be respectful towards Doom. That's a boy Kevin, good job on being smart.

"Hello sir. Your um... minion as it were, Chris over there, owes me a Pokemon story and has failed to produce it for some time and I was wondering if he may take off time from serving you to-"

"No," Doom intoned with finality.

Kevin got dejected, when he shouldn't have for Doom's unending fairness was known to all.

"He shall, instead, be docked seven five percent of his sleeping allotment daily until he has paid you back in full. He will not serve Doom any less, he will just have less leisure time.

Kevin tilted his head. "I don't think sleep counts as leisure time-"

"Do you disagree with Doom's justice, boy?"

Kevin shook his head far less violently than Doom would have if Kevin had nodded instead. "Nope, I am good."

"Of course you are good," Doom said with a chuckle. "You have borne witness to Doom's supreme logic. Be grateful."

I suppose. I met a woman who thought she had a dark sense of humor and it made her nervous because a lot of people didn't get her humor so I showed her Doom.

She was impressed.

Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it or that I won't be able to jump right back in and enjoy it anyways.

Just means I clearly need to write a 'Last time on Dragon Ball Doom' chapter where I summarize the story for you .
