Warning: I'm completely uninformed about time travel sci fi.

If I were to travel forward in time, let's say 20 years, to meet my future self, would my future self be expecting me as he has technically already lived in that moment in the past?

No one knows how it works and it's entirely possible that all current hypotheses are incorrect, or are even simultaneously correct just in different universes.

Lol I did but I always wondered this. And last week's episode made me start thinking about it again.

The only way I can wrap my head around my future self not knowing of my past self time traveling to meet him is if the act of traveling to the future created a different universe where the past self will never live in time normally. Then once he comes back he goes to his old universe? Shitty pronoun usage
