Companies are spending millions developing them but I wonder if they have actually done the research to see if people want and would like them.
I for one would never want to give up driving my own car. UNLESS they make the cars work on long road trips where you literally have to pay zero attention. I'd assume there would eventually be some skynet bs going around, and the cars would be programed to go 140mph into on coming traffic.

I don't mind so long as i'm still allowed to drive a car if i choose to.
I like driving personally. But there are definitely uses for a self-driving car. as a city dweller i cant wait for the day of self driving cars. i haven't driven in 10 years and hope to not have to drive when i move out. also replace uber drivers with self driving cars and i'm definitely in.

Hell yeah.
I utterly hate driving. I feel bad for TC. It will certainly be a hassle to hide his car so the goverent can't find it and insulate it against the regular EMPs they will fire to ensure he can never drive manually again.

I will only accept self-driving cars when it's required law and everybody is using self-driving cars. That way, there will be no reckless speeders for the car AI to deal with.

I love driving, but like others said, it ain't truly gonna be revolutionary unless all cars are self driving and constantly communicating with each other. I imagine speeds would increase and make travel super fast at that point.

Yes. In fact, I actually rode in Google's self driving car and it was fairly relaxing.
