It's just ridiculously difficult to do so. And the guide just glosses over it like it's the easiest thing in the world. There's no room to wedge anything in there.

First of all, your sim card is not within the case. There should be a small hole on the side that you push a paperclip or some similar object into to release it.

Secondly, you're not supposed to open the S6 case. You need a heat gun.

I don't typically go to YouTube for tech advice for various reasons.

In any case, I think I'm going to return this, also for various reasons. I was actually just about to seal the deal on an S5, when I saw a good deal on the S6. Little did I know that that was the one model that doesn't have micro SD support, which is a deal breaker. Wasn't expecting a new model to have less features. (And the phone is not in great shape anyway.)

A an electronic pry kit would probably help. I used an old id card to pry stuff.

The Galaxy s6 kinda sucks

Should have went with an A5 (2017) or a S7

Both can use SD cards

But neither of them the back is removable.

Why?

Did youtube tech videos fuck your mother or something? You can literally see almost anything you can think of being taken apart on youtube. I use it all the time when I'm taking apart laptops, phones, etc. It makes it so much easier.
