I really enjoyed it, especially the ending. Trico got on my nerves a couple of times and there were a few control issues but it has a great sense of, idk, rise and fall. There were enough tense of exciting moments to keep it from being boring but it was mostly a placid, puzzle-based experience.

I liked how it seemed to go out of its way to make you feel helpless as often as possible too. The little things you could do felt that much more significant.

The ending is very emotional and I like the game a great deal better than ICO. That said, it has its share of problems especially with Trico's responsiveness and overall the design feeling a bit clunky. Some of the puzzles are well designed, some, not so much.

Shadow of the Colossus remains undisputed in terms of Team ICO's ventures. ICO was a bad game and this one is merely above average-good at the very best. SotC is the only amazing one out of the three. Sorry ICO and The Last Guardian fans.

Videogames are an art form, you don't need SotC to tell you that. Movies are an art form, whether it's American Beauty or the three colours trilogy or Fast and the Furious. Same for games. Journey and SotC make it art but Kane and Lynch does too

Incredible game. Well at least from experience.

Apparently people had a lot of problems with the AI. Personally, I can only think of one instance where the AI was an issue for me.

I had one or two but I like that he annoyed me a bit. He wasn't just perfect all the time.

sotc is a top 10 game for me. ico is a damn good game.

the last guardian didn't do much for me, unfortunately, and i was looking forward to it, too. like, i totally appreciate the craftsmanship behind it all. it's just that i couldn't help but see that craftsmanship, but not connect with it.

all the "emotional" scenes i recognize as well done. the set pieces look great. the cinematography is superb. the plot is fine. trico is a magnificent beast, had zero problems with him, and is clearly the best thing in the game. i respect the reversal of the escort mission conceit. still didn't touch me the way sotc and ico did.

oh and yeah controls and camera aren't great. the decision to have way more uncharted-like moments let the game fall to the same problems that series has where making a mistake, dying, and having to repeat a whole section just sucks all tension and excitement.
