Although in all seriousness it's the act of requiring minority people.

The phrase "forced" diversity implies that you're forcing something into a place where it doesn't belong. After all, that's what happens when you try to "force" something, much like shoving a square peg into a round hole.

It's more things like hiring quotas etc.

My gf's church has this big banner on it that says "meet the family" and it's 8 black people, 2 hispanic people, and a pretty white lady, but the church itself is 99% white. Always makes me chuckle when I see it.

I give my gf shit about it every time we go to church together.

No seriously, this happens all the damn time. It's not mean-hearted either. Just people wanting to try and seem fair and not knowing how to do it, or having an agenda towards demographics without really thinking about it in human terms.

That comes from people making mountains out of molehills when it comes to race issues that people's default reaction to the consideration of race is fear of ostracism for perceived faults when really just being kind and considerate of people regardless of their skin color is enough.
