Ironic that you're using a hashtag to lead your argument. Bring back what exactly?
A bigot generation that raised a generation that's vastly surpassing them? Is that it, pride? Scared you'll be forgotten? That's cute, wait until the next generation finds its set of ideals and suddenly you're the "bigot". Society is naturally progressing because it has the infrastructure to progress. Sex Can you elaborate? St_Kevin posted... Men I will say, I'm not a fan of the "hipster" sense of dress, ponytails, wacky facial hair, or whatever. I will say I'm not a fan of whatever you call that half-buzzed hairstyle, where like half of her head is a buzzcut and the other half is long. The current generation that is growing up is going to be WAY different as they have constant sources of media and quite often interact mainly online and through texts. I'm kinda scared to be honest, as some of the younger kids have absolutely no ability to wait/patience and can literally zone out and not notice anything going on in the real world for hours at a time.

I rephrased what I was saying but after you quoted me. Your appearance to the outside world is important and people co-opting styles that are not actually a part of what that style represents ruins the representation. These distinctions in representation help to differentiate between different types of people, and I happen to like that. What used to be, "That guy could probably kick my ass" is now "That guy is probably a huge pussy" because it was co-opted by a bunch of assholes. --- I find myself identifying strongly with Hitler - Blighboy ... Of course I'm not saying that. FFS. I'm saying that if a certain group of people dress a certain way unintentionally, and then a bunch of hipsters come in and co-opt that style, it just happens to be annoying. Hipsters are trying to dress in such a way that they choose to be things that normal people wouldn't want to be. For fucks sake there's an internet meme floating around called "Homeless or Hipster?" because nobody can figure out what the hell they are anymore. It's like a weird version of being a poser but being a poser for something nobody wants to be. It's like shaving your head because you want to look like a cancer patient. Unfernal_Server posted...
