I know it might seem lame but I'm getting a new phone tomorrow and I was thinking. I would love to have my cell phone on a lanyard to avoid it breaking if I drop it.
Not hanging on my neck constantly like a necklace but what if I had it around my neck but inside my pocket? If I pull it out and I fumble (which never happens but shit happens) and it falls from my hands, the lanyard would stop it from hitting the ground? What I would love even more is if the lanyard, upon sensing a speed of fall or something, would zip the phone upward to stop it, securely, from falling. This would be awesome. I'm getting the new s8 and though I try to take care of my things as much as possible (I feel like I'm expecting a new baby lmao) I think this would kick ass. Phone cases are great but with only a phone case you're only protecting yourself from a fall, which is great. But it's almost like you're accepting that your phone will fall. Why not develop something to STOP a fall altogether? Is there such a thing? --- Lately playing on Samsung Gear VR ... Copied to Clipboard!

There's typically nowhere to attach a lanyard to a phone. I've seen one built into cases though.

It would have to be fucking gorilla glued to a case or something. Or I'll drill a tiny tiny hole or something.
