When you're in the messenger window and you can see that they're typing, but you need to exit the window, but what if the message arrives just in that moment and snapchat registers that you read it and clears it and you don't have time actually read it

I do the same thing with FB Messenger. I don't use Snapchat to talk, though. Or at all.
