What should I buy as my next console?

Currently have a 3DS, PSP, Vita, 360, Wii, Wii U, PS1, and Genesis.

Also have a decent gaming laptop (used as a desktop replacement) with GeForce 850M, i7 4910m, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, 2xSSD drive..

I owned a PS2.

I left it at a friend's in another city a few years ago because I was too lazy to bring it home and was mostly playing my DS, Wii, and 360 at the time.

I have tons of PS2 games but no PS2 :P

Sorry, didn't know you didn't own a Xbox1 and PS4 already. PS4 Pro has better exclusives than the Xbox 1. And basically both have the same games third party wise.

I would get a Switch as your secondary system for this gen. Once more worthwhile games come out on it. Though I bet Zelda would last you a couple months until Splatoon 2 comes out.

PS4 being as you don't already own a PS4. OG, Slim or Pro it really doesn't matter. The reason for this is the PS4 has much more good games so warrants a purchase.

Scorpio - Will be expensive and with it becoming a new console there won't be many games for the first few years save for the Xbox One games that'll be patched.

Switch - I like the concept but it's expensive when compared to the other consoles/accessories on the market and again not many games will be on the system for a while. I'm also sceptical when it comes to third party support. Sure your PC could cover those but I'd rather have a system that can do both.

If you've already got a gaming-quality PC, there isn't a huge amount of point in owning a PS4/Xbone, unless you can identify a number of exclusives that really appeal to you. Though an 850M might struggle with current-gen games; I'm not really sure where minimum requirements are these days.
