I love the Crazy Taxi aesthetic, B.D. seems like a cool dude and his car is my favorite so far.

I got to the end of the first World Tour stage. I managed to squeeze past with all Medium wins, except the Drift challenge that I got three stars on. I imagine that it'll be easier to crush these earlier races when I level up my racers enough.

It's been a while since I've played something with unlockable characters, let alone characters that are worth jumping through hoops for.

I hope there'll be another Sonic & All Stars game of some sort one day.

?? It can play at 60 fps, at least on the PC

Best Kart Racing game ever for sure, and one of the best racing games in general.

The cars start mattering less and less as you level the characters, becuase it becomes pretty easy to find a mod that has the combination of stats you're looking for, though you never do reach a point where it completely doesn't matter.

BD actually is a prety good choice for Time Trials, since IIRC has has both a mod with max speed and boost and one that's essentially that with slightly better handling. Sonic is a beast too with his super speed mod you eventually unlock.

But my favorite default car was Gillius. Dat boost.
