It only took square 4 years to make an entire MMO game and its expansion with tons of areas and complex systems with great looking graphics and a unique touch.
Yet for some reason they say making FF7 in 3D is too hard, HD towns are too much work and we need to split the game up and change the battlesystem. For reference in FF7 you had only 1 armor equipment and 1 accessory and not many choices. In FFXIV you have hat, shirt, gloves, belt, legs, shoes and like 5 accessories. Then you got giant megalith structures you can fly around and enjoy in FFXIV like How can we really beleive the FF7 remake team? --- sigless user is me or am I? ... Copied to Clipboard!

They are fundamentally changing what people love about FF7. They want the same game with great graphics.

Fundamentally changing the game kinda defeats the whole purpose. If people wanted an arpg FF7 game they would have played Crisis Core or Dirge of Cerebrus.
