I was a bit surprised, since the show seems like it has some pretty graphic scenes.

I'm worried cuz of lot of these kids are already depressed/are going through **** and one of my biggest fears is losing a student to suicide >_> I haven't seen the /entire/ show but I hope overall it's good for their mental health and awareness

:(

Depressing things are good, because they allow the viewer to get close to the dark, sad, shadows of life in a safe environment, and work out those emotions without fear of actual loss of danger.

Also, if the viewer has experience those shadows, it helps to know someone out their relates to them and they aren't alone.

Thank you for your post. I completely agree and you have helped me adjust my feelings about the show. I think I'd still like to sit down and watch it, in case I can talk with some kids about it.
