The world IS flat though. If there was any curvature on the surface of the earth, airplanes would have to fly at a downward angle so that they don't just fly out into space. Spherical Earth consipracy theorists would argue that's not true because gravity but that's a stupid argument because gravity is planar, so if the earth was a globe, people on the "other side" would fall off the bottom. Anyone who has ever played Super Mario Brothers and ever fell off a cliff would understand this.

Bombing terrorists often makes things worse rather than better. It tends to kill civilians which - aside from being a horrible injustice - makes the locals pissed off at the US and go join the terrorists. So yeah, gonna want to see the full numbers first.

1. Conservatives (as seen by the actions of nonservatives in this very topic series) are more likely to act like unbearable dickheads, gloating about "winning" and thus creating a situation where it's just easier to block them than deal with that bullshit.

2. Conservatives (again, as seen by the actions of nonservatives in this very topic series) hold more vocally offensive viewpoints that warrant unfriending. Keep in mind that this is a party that, in the words of the constant stream of "this is why you lost" gloating, actively enjoys rubbing racism, sexism and homophobia in liberals' faces.

My interpretation of that survey is not that liberals are pussies that can't handle alternative viewpoints, but more than liberals don't behave like douchebags to the extent that conservatives feel the need to block them.

hate to break it to you but this isn't uncommon at all on the right OR left. i know a conservative guy who i've been friends with since 2000.

so a news story you missed was the successful testing of the B61-12 last week. this is a nuke meant to replace previous entries and is being looked in favor over the B83. the B83 is one of the biggest nukes out there and it is completely impractical for usage, which is why military has been in favor of ditching it in favor of smaller ones. the B61-12 is special because it reduces the radius and fallout significantly enough that it can legitimately be used for precise strikes. intro for you to read:
