mnkboy907 posted...I don't think I've even heard of science-based vampires. I mean, sort of? Consuming blood was neither necessary for his survival nor really due to any sort of real scientific basis, so he was really just vampire-like. Hell, even his superpowers only got a scientific explanation in MGS4, and past the regeneration even that's pretty vague. --- "One toot on this whistle will take you to a far away land." -Toad, SMB3 ... What were the creatures in I am Legend? They're like vampire/zombie hybrids. The original novel calls them vampires though. --- Death or glory becomes just another story http://tinyurl.com/jqx883t - http://tinyurl.com/zqwzc9a - http://tinyurl.com/l75ybt5 ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't think I've even heard of science-based vampires. Stephenie Meyer thinks she wrote science-based vampires. I don't think I've even heard of science-based vampires. The Strain does this. Vampirism is caused by bloodborne parasites, and there's detailed description of the internal anatomical changes they cause. They're very zombie-esque vampires. --- You put your RESOLVE HAT back on, which conveniently is the same hat as your NORMAL HAT. {Drakeryn} ... Copied to Clipboard!

magic based vampires
zombies I don't care for. magic I guess. they tend to be disposable enemies who can be mowed down here. when you put zombies into a science based setting they tend to overwhelm the entire narrative which is a shame. there's many interesting things you can do with science fiction, and I don't find zombie premise stories to be among those interesting things. --- With just a simple roll of duct tape this level of reasoning is possible. http://i.imgur.com/v7UaAf9.jpg ...
